Opened in 2010- it has not lost its luster in 2023. The food is not cheap- but I thought it was actually worth the money. The pork Milanese on the bone was the juiciest I have ever had- ask for an extra lemon to squeeze on top and you will be in heaven. This is a great place to treat yourself or take out of town visitors to. During the hotter month, the swimming pool is a great hang out. The cabanas vary from $180-280 depending on the day of the week and season. They have multiple tasting room options and an outside bar. It feels like a wine and hospitality amusement park. A great place to spend a few hours!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Francis Ford Coppola Winery, and I can't say enough about the exceptional hospitality and dining experience we had there.
From the moment we walked in, we felt like honored guests. Their warmth and generosity set the tone for an unforgettable visit.
Our wine-tasting experience was elevated by Sarah, whose knowledge and passion for the wines were truly impressive. She took the time to educate us about the different varietals, enhancing our appreciation for Coppola's outstanding wines.
But the real star of the show was Nathan at Rustic. His welcoming demeanor and personable nature made us feel right at home. The food at Rustic was nothing short of amazing – from the delectable wine flight to the mouthwatering risotto and meatballs. Nathan's attention to detail and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience left us speechless.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service we received throughout our visit. Our friends were equally impressed, and we're already planning our return trip with family.
The Francis Ford Coppola Winery is a gem, and I can't wait to celebrate more special occasions there. I'll definitely be leaving a 5-star review on Google as well to let others know about this hidden treasure.
Thank you, Lillian, Rose, Sarah, and Nathan, for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at your winery!
A beautiful Winery for people who like a 1948 Tucker Torpedo and/or talisman with the helicopter 6 cylinder motor with 166 horsepower that was air-cooled one of 51 made seems to be ruby red made in Chicago Illinois I believe I guess the other 47 are accounted for the other four not so much this Winery also had his movies Francis Ford Coppola's including one of my favorites from 1992 when I was 17 called Dracula which is visually spectacular and the sets and the scores and the costumes the acting not so much this Winery is a must for people who like old cars and or horror films or films about Vietnam like Apocalypse Now from 1979 I had a blast I don't even really drink wine but the girlfriend does sometimes so we stopped there on our way back from the Castle Winery and from Fort Bragg it was a blast seems to have a free swimming pool with Italian supermodels occasionally and also the archive of the films francis ford Corolla did. The 48 Tucker seem to be free staff really really friendly and kind and helpful most excellent time was had
My friends, for any Brazilian who likes to go to São Roque in São Paulo, you should know this place. I feel in the same atmosphere and with excellent wines from the Napa Valley region.
The place is beautiful, extremely set for Coppola's films, with vineyards in the background and always full of people.
The food is American style, but pleases with its quality and flavor, logically enjoyed with glasses of wine from the region and Coppola's fields.
It's worth a lot if you're visiting San Francisco, to visit Napa Valley and also the Geyserville region.
An obligatory stop for those who like wine and good mountain air.
So today was our first time . So happy we did this. The guy who helped us was named Steve and he was so nice and full of great information. The property is filled with memories from Francis Ford Coppola, a restaurant, a pool open all summer long for guest by reservation, and much more. It was $25/ person for the “at bar” tasting including 1 white and 3 reds. If you choose the outdoor specialty tasting (for the reserves where you can only purchase in house) it costs $40. They of course have a wine club where you can purchase the level of your choice. The staff was very friendly, educational on both the wine and property, and our overall experience was an A+. Also, the property is close to many other vineyards, so this can be one of your many stops in the area.
Coppola did not disappoint! I was a bit surprised by the resort vibe with multiple dining options and a pool but it was quite neat! We enjoyed a seated tasting on the patio with Tess who was amazing. We purchased a bottle of their Reserve Viognier.
Used to be awesome. Now, most of the key touches that took this place from good to awesome are cut back: (1) no longer get to choose your seats/cabannas, (2) no more free welcome spritzer drink, (3) menu poolside shrunk significantly and quality has declined. On a recent trip, paid $20 for this sad excuse of a Cobb salad (see picture). They used to have great poolside food --excellent pizza choices, great tuna and ceasar salads. Bummer.
If you are a Coppola fan, this place is a MUST STOP. There are so many great places to sit and enjoy a drink here - outside or inside, and lots of gift items for sale inside. Since I was short on time, I just cruised through the exhibits of movie memorabilia upstairs and down, which is worth the visit alone. I appreciate that this place (unlike Inglenook and most others) allows you to drive in and walk around without a reservation, and there is ample parking outside. People working here seemed friendly and welcoming too. I'll definitely be back to spend some more time here!
